Ines Triebenbacher is ‘Restaurant Manager of the Year’
As part of the presentation of the Guide GaultMillau (see summary) in Ascona (TI) on 30 September, restaurant manager and sommelier Ines Triebenbacher from IGNIV by Andreas Caminada Zurich was honoured as ‘Hostess of the Year 2025’.
‘We are impressed by her warmth and also by her knowledge of wine and champagne,’ said Urs Heller, editor-in-chief of the culinary guide, in his laudatory speech. The 34-year-old has been running the restaurant in the heart of Zurich's old town alongside head chef Daniel Zeindlhofer since it opened in February 2020. ‘The award is truly a great honour. It is a wonderful recognition of the daily work that would not be possible without our motivated and talented team,’ says the Bavarian-born chef, overwhelmed. The Michelin Guide already honoured the exceptional hostess with the ‘Service Award’ in 2022.
