GaultMillau Switzerland 2025

On 30 September 2024, GaultMillau editor-in-chief Urs Heller presented the new culinary guide for the year 2025 in Ascona (TI). The Swiss restaurants of the Caminada Group confirmed their classifications.

Andreas Caminada and Marcel Skibba's Schloss Schauenstein once again received the top rating of 19 points. An honour that only six other restaurants in Switzerland receive. ‘Chef of the Year 2024’, Silvio Germann, confirmed the 18 points for the Mammertsberg in Freidorf (TG). The teams led by chefs Joël Ellenberger and Daniel Zeindlhofer at IGNIV by Andreas Caminada in Bad Ragaz and Zurich were once again delighted to be awarded 17 points. The vegetarian restaurant Oz in Fürstenau was also honoured with 16 points under the new management of Simeon Nikolov, and Casa Caminada with chef Mathias ‘Mothl’ Kotzbeck is still represented with 14 points. ‘This award is a source of satisfaction and appreciation. It spurs my team and me on to constantly scrutinise our quality. The pressure to maintain it means we remain dynamic and continue to develop,’ summarises Andreas Caminada.

Ines Triebenbacher, Restaurant Manager and Sommelière at IGNIV Zurich, received a special honour: She was named hostess of the year. Read more here. Following the closure of IGNIV St. Moritz last year, the fifth chapter in the IGNIV story will open in Andermatt on 19 December. Stay informed here.
